Snow Day!

THE possibility of being snowed in by a forecasted mega-snow caused many schools and businesses to close early or not open at all today. The New Family Mom's employer opted for the latter and let its people work from home.

Ooooh, the anticipation! The excitement! A snow day, a day where, when you were a child, you got to do something different than the ordinary, everyday, boring routine. No matter how much you loved school, the excitement and possibility afforded by a day off, a chance to do something different, was always tantalizing. What was too much snow for the adults was just enough snow for fun for kids.

Snowmageddon is on its way!
The Twins are too young yet for sledding down hills, skating on ponds, or venturing out in cold weather for extended periods, but just the right age for extra-special attention.

Buddy in His Rugby

DAD likes this shirt!

Wonder why?

This is one of Dad's favorite shirts. Mom calls it his "Big Boy" shirt meaning that it makes him look like a little boy when he wears it and so she needs to affirm him as if he were by saying that he is "such a big boy!"

An Early Birthday Present

NEW Family Grandma and Grandpa Woodall purchased the Twins a green wagon for their birthday (which is not until 06/11/12, but just a reminder for you adoring fans that wish to send the Twins birthday greetings).

New Family Mom and Dad and bought the trailer. Isn't it adorable? Now there is room to carry them and all of their stuff.

The wagon is from Step 2. It has seat belts to secure the little ones.

Mom and Dad now await the weather to turn so they can make use of it.

Hangin' Out in Sis's Crib

EJ and Liesel literally hang on to the edge of her crib for balance while Mom watches them so Dad can install the new car seats.

Let's take a closer look.

Hmm, looks like a Pugsley and Wednesday photo.

A Man's Place is...

...in the kitchen.
EJ explores the kitchen. What is he looking at just now?
He was fascinated with his reflection in the trash can. Having gotten down on the floor with the Twins, Dad saw how disgustingly dirty it actually was and commenced cleaning, trying to stay ahead of the crawlers.

EJ marveled at the low friction between his sleeper and the floor. He could pull himself along easily with just his hands.

Having been there, done that, Liesel hung out in the doorway content to watch the guys clean the floor, Dad with cleaning supplies, EJ with his sleeper.

Her new Thudguard has worked well for her having saved her from two face plants and one head banging so far.
